![]() I can post a pic of the ECU if it would help. Seeing how this is my first import, and I do not know much about them I figured my best bet was to find someone who may know. It also has 4 small wires coming out of the bottom, a blue and white thats been spliced together and a green and white also spliced together. The ECU number is hard to see, the case is in the way some, but its either a P08 or maybe a P06. I started investigating and discovered my ECU is not the P13 I thought it would have in it but instead it is a P08!!! I talked to the guy I bought the car from and he says its been "chipped so it should work fine." Doesn't sound right to me, but I guess it is possible. Problem: It starts hard when cold, and seemed to randomly have a rev limiter at 4500 rpm, and sometimes I can rev to 7000 rpm. I've done the usual tests and the oil loss seems to becoming from bad valve seals, prolly installed incorrectly which does make me question the entire build but thats still not my current problem. Got a good deal on it cause it is not running right, burns a little oil under hard engine load and the vtec wont engage. It has a built H22a4 with performance cams, crower valve springs and retainers, its been resleeved, and has new pistons and rods. I just bought a 1993 Prelude AWS with a H22a4 swap. I'm not a car newb by any means, I have several years of school in the subject some of which was in the GMASEP program. Hi guys, I am new to this forum and new to Hondas.
